Welcome to Cantonese! Let's see what you'll learn in this first module. Cantonese is a tonal language — but don't worry, we'll take it step by step!

- Greet people formally and informally in Cantonese (你好 nei5 hou2, 早晨 zou2 san4, 拜拜 baai1 baai3)
- Introduce yourself — say your name and nationality (我叫… ngo5 giu3…, 我係… ngo5 hai6…)
- Use basic pronouns: I, you, he/she (我 ngo5, 你 nei5, 佢 keoi5)
- Say what you are or are not using 係/唔係 (hai6 / m4 hai6) — e.g. "I am a student" / "I am not a teacher"
- Ask and answer simple yes/no questions
- Count from 1 to 10 (一 to 十)
