- Greet someone and say goodbye in Icelandic (Halló, Hæ, Bless)
- Introduce yourself — name, origin, age (Ég heiti..., Ég er frá...)
- Ask someone their name and where they're from (Hvað heitir þú? Hvaðan ertu?)
- Recognize Icelandic special characters: ð, þ, æ, ö and accented vowels á, é, í, ó, ú, ý
- Count from 0 to 20 in Icelandic
- Give simple yes/no answers (Já / Nei)
- Use basic polite phrases: Takk, Afsakið, Fyrirgefðu
