After this module, you can...

• Recognise and read the Malayalam script (post-1971 reformed orthography) — one of the world's most rounded and elegant writing systems
• Greet people formally and informally: നമസ്കാരം (namaskāram) and ഹലോ (halō)
• Introduce yourself: എന്റെ പേര് (eṉṟe pēr) — "my name is"
• Ask how someone is: സുഖമാണോ (sukhamāṇō) — "are you well?"
• Say where you are from: ഞാൻ ... ആണ് (ñān ... āṇ)
• Say goodbye: വിട (viṭa) and പോകട്ടെ (pōkaṭṭe)
