I can tell a story about something that happened to me: set the scene, say what interrupted it, explain why it happened and bring it to an ending.
- Choose between the preterite and the imperfect instead of guessing.
- Say what supe, conocí, pude and quise really mean.
- Steer a listener with aquel día, de repente, mientras, al rato and total que.
- Use estaba haciendo for a scene and estuvo haciendo for a measured stretch, and know where Spanish refuses the gerund.
- Give a reason with como, porque, es que or por + infinitive, and a result with así que or por eso.
- Tell a two-minute anecdote that ends when you mean it to.
