• Distinguish and produce all 6 tones
• Say hello and goodbye using appropriate pronouns
• Introduce yourself: name, nationality
• Ask and answer basic questions: Tên gì? Ở đâu?
• Count from 0 to 10
• Understand the pronoun-as-kinship system
