じゃありません — Negative Copula
To negate です, use じゃありません (polite) or じゃない (casual). More formal: ではありません.

Example: これは本じゃありません。= This is not a book.
Using ないです instead of じゃありません for nouns (ないです is for adjectives); Forgetting は before じゃありません

Contrast: じゃありません (negation) followed by です (affirmation)
