疑問文（か）
Question formation with か particle and question words (何, 誰, どこ, いつ, etc.)
Can form yes/no and WH-questions using か and question words

疑問文 — Questions
Add か to the end of a statement to make it a question. No word order change needed!

Important: Question words take が (not は): 誰が来ましたか。(Who came?)

これ(this) + は(topic) + 何(なに, what) + ですか(is?)
トイレはどこですか。
Where is the toilet?
トイレ(toilet) + は(topic) + どこ(where) + ですか — an essential survival phrase!
誰が来ましたか。
Who came?
誰(だれ, who) + が(subject, NOT は) + 来ました(きました, came) + か
