Байх + байршил (Location with байх)
Use байна/байдаг for existence and location. The reflexive possessive -аа/-оо/-ээ/-өө attaches to dative for 'at one's own'.
- Би гэртээ байна (I am at my home)
- Номын дэлгүүрт байна (is at the bookstore)
Häufige Fehlermuster
Omitting reflexive possessive suffix -аа/-ээ with 'one's own' location
Placing postposition before noun instead of after
Би гэртээ байна.
Ich bin zu Hause (bei mir).
гэрт + -ээ (reflexives Possessiv) = гэртээ (bei sich zu Hause).
Ном ширээн дээр байна.
Das Buch ist auf dem Tisch.
дээр (Postposition: auf/über) + байна (ist) markiert den Ort.
Тэр хаана байна вэ?
Wo ist er/sie?
хаана (wo) + байна вэ? = Standardfrage nach dem Ort.
