How to request deletion

You can request that your account and data be deleted in either of these ways:

• In the app or on the website: open Profile → Settings → Delete account and confirm.
• By email: write to [email protected] from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request comes from the account owner before acting on it.

We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.

What is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from our active systems, including:

• your account details (name, email address, and account identifier),
• your learning data (course progress, points, streaks, achievements, and saved vocabulary),
• and your app preferences.

What we keep, and for how long

Records we are legally required to retain - such as payment and transaction records needed for tax and accounting - are kept in anonymized form (no longer linked to your identity) for the period required by law, and then deleted. Short-lived server logs are retained only briefly for security and abuse prevention.
