Temporal connectors: primero, después, luego, por último, al final

Primero estudio, después descanso.
First I study, then I rest.
Después de comer, voy a pasear.
After eating, I go for a walk.
Al final, todo salió bien.
In the end, everything turned out well.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
Conectores temporales organizan la secuencia de eventos:

Ejemplo de secuencia: Primero me levanto, después desayuno, luego voy al trabajo y por último vuelvo a casa.
Primero estudio, después descanso.
First I study, then I rest.
Primero...después = first...then. Basic sequencing connectors.
Después de comer, voy a pasear.
After eating, I go for a walk.
Después de + infinitive = after doing something. Don't forget 'de'!
Al final, todo salió bien.
In the end, everything turned out well.
Al final = in the end (conclusion of a story). Por último = lastly (final item in a sequence).
