Without and With: u-...-o and -iani
The privative u-...-o (ushakro, udzilo) and possessive -iani (shakriani, mziani) derivation pair.

ერთი უშაქრო ყავა და ერთი შაქრიანი, თუ შეიძლება.
One coffee without sugar and one with, please.
უძილო ღამის შემდეგ ორმაგი ყავა მჭირდება.
After a sleepless night I need a double coffee.
კახეთი მზიანი მხარეა, სვანეთი კი - თოვლიანი.
Kakheti is a sunny region, while Svaneti is a snowy one.

The polarity pair
Two mirror derivations: privative უ-...-ო (უშაქრო sugar-free, უძილო sleepless, უფასო free-of-charge) and possessive -იანი (შაქრიანი with sugar, მზიანი sunny, ჭკვიანი clever - 'having mind'). Together they replace whole with/without phrases - menus, weather, and character descriptions run on them.
Periphrastic gareshe everywhere (shakris gareshe q'ava) where ushakro is natural, and -iani glued to adjectives instead of nouns.
