Çawa = how. Tu = you. Yî = are. The standard Kurdish greeting.
Navê te çi ye?
What is your name?
Navê = name-IZF. Te = your (oblique). Çi = what. Ye = is.
Li ku derjî?
Where do you live?
Li ku = where. Derjî = you live (di-jî with contraction).
