Common Error Patterns
Wrong imperative form
du: verb stem (Schwätz!), dir: stem + t (Schwätzt!), mir: Kommt mir + infinitive
Schwätz méi lues!
Speak more slowly!
Du-imperative: just the verb stem. Lues = slowly.
Kommt hei, wann ech gelift!
Come here, please!
Dir/formal imperative with -t. Wann ech gelift = please.
Loosst eis goen!
Let's go!
1st person plural imperative — like German 'Lasst uns...' or 'Gehen wir!'
