Look at these examples. Can you spot the grammar pattern?
¿Hablas español?
Do you speak Spanish?
Tengo un coche rojo.
I have a red car.
A mí me gusta mucho el fútbol.
I really like football.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
El orden básico en español es SVO (Sujeto-Verbo-Objeto), igual que en inglés:
María (S) come (V) una manzana (O).
Pero el español es más flexible:

Question by inverting verb-subject or just intonation. No auxiliary 'do' needed.
Tengo un coche rojo.
I have a red car.
Adjective AFTER noun: coche rojo (not *rojo coche). This is the default position in Spanish.
A mí me gusta mucho el fútbol.
I really like football.
'A mí' at the beginning for emphasis. Word order is flexible for emphasis.
