Ejercicios de práctica
Learners mix up the -cet and -desát suffixes, or forget the irregular hundreds forms. 🇬🇧 English speakers: English speakers may try to use a hyphen pattern like 'twenty-one' and struggle with the changing forms of 'hundred' (stě/sta/set).

Patrones de errores comunes

Incorrect form of tens or hundreds (e.g., *padesát instead of padesát)

Review tens (-cet for 20-40, -desát for 50-90) and hundreds (stě/sta/set) patterns

Wrong noun case after a numeral

After 5+, use genitive plural. After 2-4, use nominative plural.

Stojí to dvacet pět korun.

It costs twenty-five crowns.

Compound numbers: tens + units, no conjunction needed.

V Praze žije milion dvě stě tisíc lidí.

One million two hundred thousand people live in Prague.

Hundreds change form: dvě stě (200), tři sta (300), pět set (500).

Máme třicet dva studentů.

We have thirty-two students.

After numbers 5+, the noun takes genitive plural (studentů).
