C'è (there is) e ci sono (there are) servono per indicare l'esistenza o la presenza di qualcosa.

C'è è la contrazione di ci è. Ci qui significa 'there' (in quel luogo).

Using c'è for plural or ci sono for singular
C'è = singular (there is one). Ci sono = plural (there are many). Always match to the number of the thing.
Writing ce instead of c'è
Always write the apostrophe: c'è (contraction of ci + è). Without it, 'ce' means something different.
C'è una farmacia qui vicino.
There is a pharmacy nearby.
C'è = es gibt (Singular).
Ci sono molti studenti in classe.
There are many students in class.
Ci sono = es gibt (Plural).
