I can say how long something lasted and how far it extended
Look at these examples. Can you spot the grammar pattern?
He slept all day.
The work went on from morning to evening.
I'll remember it all my life.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
भर follows the noun and means the entire span, with a hint that it was a lot.
से लेकर is more emphatic than plain से and stresses the whole stretch.
It also attaches to quantities: इतना भर - just this much; दो दिन भर - a full two days. And मुँह भर, हाथ भर give measures by body part - a mouthful, an arm's length.
