Polish Pronunciation
Polish is largely phonetic. Stress falls on the penultimate syllable. Nasal vowels ą/ę change quality by context. Voiced consonants devoice at word end.
Learners stress the wrong syllable. Nasal vowels lose nasality at word end.

ko-BIE-ta — stress is on the penultimate syllable (-BIE-), not the first or last.
Lubię chleb.
I like bread.
chleb /xlep/ — voiced b devoices to /p/ at word end. Ch sounds like German 'ch' in 'Buch'.
