Group II/III: -em, -eți. Group IV: -im, -iți. NOT -ăm, -ați (that's Group I).

Missing vowel change in 3rd person

Many verbs change vowels: dormi→doarme (o→oa), veni→vine (e→i).

Eu văd un film și tu dormi.

I watch a movie and you sleep.

'Văd' = I see (Gr. II, vedea). 'Dormi' = you sleep (Gr. IV, dormi). Different groups, different patterns.

Noi mergem la piață și ei fac cumpărături.

We go to the market and they do shopping.

'Mergem' = we go (Gr. III). 'Fac' = they do/make (Gr. III, irregular). eu fac = ei fac.

El scrie o scrisoare și ea citește un roman.

He writes a letter and she reads a novel.

'Scrie' = writes (Gr. III). 'Citește' = reads (Gr. IV, with -ește ending). Note the vowel change!
