Common Error Patterns

Time adverb doesn't match verb tense

dün → past tense; yarın → future; şimdi → present continuous; her gün → aorist

Dün sinemaya gittim, yarın tiyatroya gideceğim.

Yesterday cinema, tomorrow theater.

dün + past; yarın + future.

Her gün Türkçe çalışıyorum.

I study Turkish every day.

her gün: every day.

Şimdi meşgulüm, sonra konuşalım.

Busy now, talk later.

şimdi (now), sonra (later).
