Common Error Patterns
Used hiç with positive verb
hiç requires NEGATIVE verb: hiç gitmedim, not *hiç gittim
Bazen Türk kahvesi içerim.
Sometimes I drink Turkish coffee.
bazen: sometimes.
Hiç İstanbul'a gitmedim.
I have never been to Istanbul.
hiç + negative verb! Double negative required.
Genellikle saat yedide kalkarım.
I usually wake up at seven.
genellikle: usually.
