men, sen, u, biz, siz, ular - no gender anywhere.
I can use the six pronouns and the doubled possessive pattern.
Look at these examples. Can you spot the grammar pattern?
Men Toshkentdanman.
I am from Tashkent.
U shifokor.
He (or she) is a doctor.
Mening kitobim yangi.
My book is new.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
men (I), sen (you - informal), u (he/she/it - one word!), biz (we), siz (you polite/plural - the safe default), ular (they).
Possession doubles up: mening kitobim - 'my book-my': the pronoun takes -ning AND the noun takes a personal suffix (-im).
