Hebrew prepositions: על (on/about), עם (with), בלי (without)
Can use על, עם, and בלי correctly to describe location, accompaniment, and absence

שלוש מילות יחס נפוצות:

על — שני שימושים עיקריים:
- מיקום: הכוס על השולחן (the cup is on the table)
- נושא/תוכן: אנחנו מדברים על הסרט (we are talking about the film)
עִם עם כינויי גוף: עם מצטרף לסיומות: אתי, איתך, איתו, איתה, איתנו, איתכם, איתם.
Translating על always as 'on' and missing its 'about' meaning (מדברים על = talking about, not on). Confusing עם (with) and בלי (without) — opposite meaning, similar length. Trying to use עם + pronoun as two separate words (עם אני ✗ → אתי ✓).
English speakers: על doubles as 'about' which English handles differently (talk about ≠ be on). Ru/Cs speakers: על+suffix pronouns (אתי, איתך) are unlike Russian/Czech prepositional pronouns.

Used על only for physical 'on' and missed the 'about/concerning' meaning in speech contexts
Remember: מדבר על = talking about; חושב על = thinking about; שומע על = hearing about — על is not just 'on'
Used עם + independent pronoun (עם אני) instead of the fused form (אתי)
With pronouns, עם fuses: עם+אני→אתי, עם+אתה→איתך, עם+הוא→איתו — never use עם + free pronoun
הטלפון שלי על השולחן.
Мій телефон на столі.
על = на (місцезнаходження). Зверніть увагу: в іврит немає дієслова 'бути' в теперішньому часі — הטלפון על השולחן — повне речення.
אני שותה קפה עם חלב.
Я п'ю каву з молоком.
עם = з. Коли עם слідує за іменником (не займенником), воно залишається окремим словом עם.
הוא מדבר עלי.
Він говорить про мене.
על + суфіксний займенник: עלי = про мене. Значення 'про' у על часто зустрічається з дієсловами мовлення та думки.
