I can stack modal particles in their fixed order and tune tone with them.

Partikeln stapeln sich nach fester Ordnung:

Ordnung: ja > doch > halt/eben > auch > mal. halt klingt süddeutsch, eben norddeutsch - die Funktion ist identisch. Falsche Partikel kippt den Ton schneller als ein Grammatikfehler.
