Error with Парадак слоў
Review Парадак слоў.
Ганна чытае кнігу ў парку.
Anna is reading a book in the park.
The neutral order, with the new information (where) at the end.
У парку чытае кнігу Ганна.
It is Anna who is reading a book in the park.
Same words, but now the answer to who. Ганна at the end carries the emphasis.
Іду на працу, буду а дзевятай.
I am off to work, I will be there at nine.
No pronoun in either clause: the endings -у and буду already say who.
Ты ж ведаеш, дзе гэта.
You know where it is, surely.
The particle ж comes after the first stressed word and adds the shade English gets from surely or a change of tone.
Стары горад у Гродне варта пабачыць.
Hrodna's old town is worth seeing.
Стары горад with the adjective first is a noun phrase. Горад стары would be a sentence: the town is old.
