Siempre desayuno a las ocho.

I always have breakfast at eight.

Nunca bebo café.

I never drink coffee.

A veces voy al cine los viernes.

Sometimes I go to the cinema on Fridays.

Adverbios de frecuencia indican con qué regularidad ocurre una acción:

Posición: Generalmente antes o después del verbo: Siempre como a las dos. / Como siempre a las dos.

Nunca + verbo: Si nunca va antes del verbo, NO se usa no: Nunca como carne. Si va después: No como carne nunca.

Double negation with nunca: *No nunca como → Nunca como OR No como nunca. 🇬🇧 English speakers: English never allows double negatives. Spanish allows 'No como nunca' (double negative = single negative meaning).

Siempre desayuno a las ocho.

I always have breakfast at eight.

Siempre before verb. No double negative needed.

Nunca bebo café.

I never drink coffee.

Nunca before verb = no 'no' needed. Alternatively: No bebo café nunca.

A veces voy al cine los viernes.

Sometimes I go to the cinema on Fridays.

A veces = sometimes. Can go at the beginning or end of the sentence.
