ČísloSlovoČísloSlovo
20dvacet60šedesát
30třicet70sedmdesát
40čtyřicet80osmdesát
50padesát90devadesát

Stovky: 100 = sto, 200 = dvě stě, 300 = tři sta, 400 = čtyři sta, 500 = pět set, 1000 = tisíc.

Složené číslovky: desítka + jednotka: dvacet jedna (21), třicet pět (35), padesát osm (58). Stovky se říkají první: sto dvacet tři (123).

Learners mix up the -cet and -desát suffixes, or forget the irregular hundreds forms. 🇬🇧 English speakers: English speakers may try to use a hyphen pattern like 'twenty-one' and struggle with the changing forms of 'hundred' (stě/sta/set).

Common Error Patterns

Incorrect form of tens or hundreds (e.g., *padesát instead of padesát)

Review tens (-cet for 20-40, -desát for 50-90) and hundreds (stě/sta/set) patterns

Wrong noun case after a numeral

After 5+, use genitive plural. After 2-4, use nominative plural.

One million two hundred thousand people live in Prague.

Hundreds change form: dvě stě (200), tři sta (300), pět set (500).
