The book is on the table.

Türkçe'de edatlar (postpositions) isimden sonra gelir (preposition değil!).

Yapı: İsim + genitive (-nın/-nin) + edat (+ possessive). Edatlar aslında iyelik ekleri taşıyan isimlerdir!
Common Error Patterns
Placed postposition before noun (preposition order)
Turkish uses POST-positions: noun + genitive + postposition
Kitap masanın üstünde.
The book is on the table.
masanın üstünde: genitive + postposition.
Kedi masanın altında uyuyor.
The cat is sleeping under the table.
masanın altında: under the table.
Okul evin yanında.
The school is next to the house.
evin yanında: next to the house.
