I can make Ukrainian adjectives agree with their noun in gender and number in the nominative, including hard and soft types.
Look at these examples. Can you spot the grammar pattern?
Я купив новий рушник на Житньому ринку.
I bought a new rushnyk at the Zhytnii market.
Вона має синю сукню з вишивкою.
She has a blue dress with embroidery.
Тут гарні старі будинки — це Поділ.
The old houses here are lovely - this is Podil.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
Прикметник узгоджується з іменником у роді, числі та відмінку. Базові закінчення у називному відмінку:

Тверда група: новий, нова, нове, нові. М'яка група (основа на м'який): синій, синя, синє, сині.
