Rendi bazë i fjalëve në shqip është SVO (Subjekt-Folje-Objekt), si në anglisht:

  • Unë (S) lexoj (V) librin (O). — I read the book.

Llojet e fjalive:

LlojiStrukturaShembull
PohoreS + V + OArta lexon librin.
MohueseS + nuk + V + OArta nuk lexon librin.
Pyetëse (po/jo)A + V + S + O?A lexon Arta librin?
Pyetëse (fjala pyetëse)Fp + V + S?Çfarë lexon Arta?

Fleksibilitet: Shqipja lejon ndryshime të rendit për theksim: Librin e lexon Arta (It's the book that Arta reads). Foljet tregojnë vetën, prandaj subjekti mund të hiqet.

Albanian SVO order is flexible — emphasis can shift word order. But beginners should stick to SVO. 🇬🇧 English speakers: SVO is familiar. But Albanian's flexibility (OSV, VSO) for emphasis may be confusing.

Common Error Patterns

Non-standard word order in a basic sentence

Stick to SVO for now: Unë (S) lexoj (V) librin (O)

Nuk in wrong position

Nuk always comes immediately before the verb: nuk ha, nuk lexoj

Arta lexon një libër çdo ditë.

Arta reads a book every day.

Standard SVO order: Arta (S) + lexon (V) + një libër (O) + çdo ditë (time adverb at end).

Unë nuk ha mish.

I don't eat meat.

Negative sentence: S + nuk + V + O. Nuk goes directly before the verb.
