Ja/nee-vragen: Het werkwoord komt op de eerste plaats:
- Werk jij morgen?
- Is het warm buiten?
W-vragen: Het vraagwoord komt eerst, dan het werkwoord:

Common Error Patterns
Using a 'do' auxiliary (*Doe jij werken?)
Dutch has no 'do' auxiliary. Put the main verb first: Werk jij?

Where do you live?
W-question: waar + verb + subject. No auxiliary needed.
Spreek jij Nederlands?
Do you speak Dutch?
Yes/no question: verb first, then subject. No auxiliary like English 'do'.
Hoeveel kost een kop koffie?
How much does a cup of coffee cost?
'Hoeveel' (how much) + verb + subject. Practical for shopping.
