Тэр кофе уудаг.
He drinks coffee (in general).
Би дүүгийн байшинг харлаа.
I saw my younger sibling's building.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
Direct object marker. Use -ыг/-ийг for definite objects (vowel harmony applies). Indefinite objects take no marker.
Indefinite: Би ном авна (I buy a book).
