Can express future actions using sẽ

Tôi sẽ gọi cho bạn tối nay.
I will call you tonight.
Ngày mai trời sẽ nắng.
Tomorrow it will be sunny.
Tuần sau chúng tôi đi Huế.
Next week we'll go to Hue.

Thì tương lai với "sẽ" — Future Tense
Place sẽ before the verb for future actions. Pattern: Subject + sẽ + verb.

| Ngày mai tôi sẽ học. | Tomorrow I will study. |
| Chúng ta sẽ gặp lại. | We will meet again. |
Like đã, sẽ is optional when context is clear: Ngày mai tôi đi Đà Nẵng = Tomorrow I'll go to Da Nang (no sẽ needed because ngày mai already marks future).
Common Error Patterns
Used sẽ when time words already mark future
sẽ is optional with ngày mai, tuần sau, etc.
Tôi sẽ gọi cho bạn tối nay.
I will call you tonight.
sẽ + gọi = will call. tối nay = tonight. Both markers present but sẽ alone would suffice.
Ngày mai trời sẽ nắng.
Tomorrow it will be sunny.
sẽ for predictions. nắng = sunny. Vietnamese weather: trời + adjective.
Tuần sau chúng tôi đi Huế.
Next week we'll go to Hue.
No sẽ! tuần sau (next week) already marks future. This is natural Vietnamese — don't over-mark tense.
