Calling a rule a लक्ष्मण रेखा does not describe it; it says crossing it will bring disaster and that everyone was warned. A single word does the work of a paragraph.
Several of these are politically loaded, रामराज्य above all. Recognising them is necessary; deploying them is not neutral.
