Některá slovesa mají nepravidelné l-příčestí. Nelze je odvodit z infinitivu jednoduchým odebráním -t.
| Infinitiv | L-příčestí (M) | L-příčestí (F) | Příklad |
|---|---|---|---|
| jít (jdu) | šel | šla | Šel jsem domů. |
| jet (jedu) | jel | jela | Jela do Brna. |
| moci (můžu) | mohl | mohla | Nemohl jsem přijít. |
| říci/říct | řekl | řekla | Řekl mi to. |
| jíst (jím) | jedl | jedla | Jedl jsem oběd. |
| vzít (vezmu) | vzal | vzala | Vzala si kabát. |
| najít (najdu) | našel | našla | Našel jsem klíče. |
| přijít (přijdu) | přišel | přišla | Přišla pozdě. |
Vzor jít: Všechna slovesa s kmenem -jít mají l-příčestí na -šel/-šla: přijít → přišel, odejít → odešel, najít → našel.
Tip: Nepravidelné tvary je třeba se naučit nazpaměť. Pomocné sloveso (jsem/jsi/jsme/jste) se používá stejně jako u pravidelných sloves.
