Conditional clauses with kdyby in both tenses, the jestli/pokud/kdyby distinction, and kdyby for polite wishes
I can distinguish real and unreal conditions and choose between jestli, pokud, když and kdyby.

Kdybych uměl hrát na harmoniku, hrál bych u táboráku.
If I could play the accordion, I would play at the campfire.
Pokud v sobotu nebude pršet, kdybyste se chtěli přidat, jedeme na kola.
If it doesn't rain on Saturday — should you want to join — we are going cycling.

Kdyby (časuje se: kdybych, kdybys…) uvozuje nereálnou podmínku:

Po kdyby nikdy nestojí budoucí čas ani by: *kdyby bude, *kdyby by.

- kdybys + se → kdyby ses
