Нам не ну́жно рабо́тать сего́дня.
We don't need to work today.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
«Нужно/Надо» + инфинитив — выражение необходимости:

|---|---|---|
| Мне | Мне ну́жно рабо́тать. | I need to work. |
| Тебе | Тебе́ на́до идти́? | Do you need to go? |
| Ему | Ему́ ну́жно учи́ться. | He needs to study. |
Нужно vs Надо: Практически синонимы. Нужно — чуть формальнее.
Не нужно = don't need to (not forbidden). Нельзя́ = forbidden / cannot.
Мне ну́жно идти́.
I need to go.
