Look at these examples. Can you spot the grammar pattern?
Уважаемые пассажиры, забытые вещи можно получить у дежурного.
Dear passengers, forgotten items can be collected from the attendant.
Письмо, написанное Татьяной, читает каждый школьник, изучающий Пушкина.
The letter written by Tatyana is read by every schoolchild studying Pushkin.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
Квадрат причастий:

Выбор: кто делает → действительное; что делается/сделано → страдательное. Страдательное прошедшее - главный поставщик пассива: подписанный договор, забытая мелодия. От СВ нет настоящих причастий; страдательные настоящего - только от переходных НСВ.
