Karlův most byl založen Karlem IV. roku 1357.
Charles Bridge was founded by Charles IV in 1357.
Jste srdečně zváni na vinobraní do Mikulova.
You are cordially invited to the wine festival in Mikulov.
Pay attention to the highlighted parts. What do they have in common?
Opisné pasivum = být + příčestí trpné (-n/-t), shoduje se s podmětem:

| minulý | Byl jsem pozván na svatbu. |
| budoucí | Projekt bude dokončen v květnu. |
Původce děje: 7. pádem: Hrad byl založen Karlem IV. Opisné pasivum je formálnější (úřady, zprávy); v běžné řeči převažuje zvratné.
- Agent with od/z: *založen od Karla → založen Karlem (instrumental)
- No agreement: *Večeře je uvařen → uvařena
- Overuse in speech — prefer the reflexive or active

Agent goes in the bare instrumental: Karlem IV.
Participle not agreeing
je postaven/postavena/postaveno by subject

Agent in the instrumental, no preposition.
Jste srdečně zváni na vinobraní do Mikulova.
You are cordially invited to the wine festival in Mikulov.
Formal invitation formula: jste zváni.
