Participles: Writer, Written, Said
The three participle families: agent m-...-eli, patient -ili/-uli, and past na-...-i, declining like adjectives.

რუსთაველი საქართველოს უდიდესი მწერალია.
Rustaveli is Georgia's greatest writer.
ხელით დაწერილი წერილი ყველაზე ძვირფასი საჩუქარია.

ნათქვამი სიტყვა ბეღურასავით გაფრინდება - ვეღარ დაიჭერ.
A spoken word flies off like a sparrow - you can no longer catch it.

Verbs frozen into adjectives
Three participle families: agent მ-...-ელი/-არი (მწერალი writer, მომღერალი singer), patient -ილი/-ული (დაწერილი written, აშენებული built), and the past ნა-...-ი (ნათქვამი said, ნანახი seen). They decline and truncate like ordinary adjectives - and half of Georgia's professions and proverbs are built from them.
Using the agent pattern for results (*mts'erali ts'erili for 'written letter') and forgetting adjective truncation on participles.

mts'erali 'writer' = m- + ts'er + -ali: the agent participle became a profession.

dats'erili 'written' modifies like an adjective and truncates like one: dats'eril ts'erils.
ნათქვამი სიტყვა ბეღურასავით გაფრინდება - ვეღარ დაიჭერ.
A spoken word flies off like a sparrow - you can no longer catch it.
natkvami 'what was said' - the na- participle, beloved of proverbs.
